Since I am launching a lip balm line this fall, the title of this post from Refinery29 caught my attention, “This Is The Best Reason To Launch A Lip Gloss We’ve Ever Seen.” I had to read on. Turns out Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, the company behind the famed (and amazing) Lip Tars, launched a new limited edition color so one of their very own employees could get the very expensive and not covered by insurance gender reassignment (transition) surgery. How awesome is that?!?! Also the color is pretty rad. So if your looking for some new lip gloss, OCC Lip Tars are incredibly pigmented and lasted for me at least FIVE hours through eating and drinking. The limited edition color is called January Rising Lip Tar and its only available for 14 more days! Its $25 bucks and 100% of the funds go directly to the fund, OCC gets no profit or funds for production. UGH, what a great company!

Smart Find | Jewelry Organizing
I have a few systems going to organize all of my jewelry None of which particularly work. I can’t see what I have, and I always end up wearing the same thing over and over and over again. I’m pretty sure this jewlery organizer by Belle Dangles will solve all of my jewelry organizing and thus wearing problems problems. I’ve mentioned before my desire for a vanity and I think this would go really well in that general area, perhaps right above it? What do you think? Gimmick or genius organizing thing?

My Favorite New Accessory….
My fave new accessory is this boxed water. Aside from being amazingly cute and totally totable the water tastes great. Its leak proof, I love the font, its cardboard and perfectly purse sized. This has totally found a permanent place in my bag. More reason to drink water which awesome because it is so feakin’ good for you!

Don’t worry friends I am not pregnant, but it seems that everyone is pregnant or just had a baby! Which is great, but as a gift what do you get your friends or family? Duh, clothing? Don’t worry just because of the onslaught of babies this will NOT turn into a baby blog. These are my top baby clothing gift picks. I love this hat it is so cute, stripes are a fave of mine and baby should be just as stylish and as a bonus I love that its handmade in NYC! Chambray and ‘leather’ pretty much a combo I wear all the time, so why not baby?!?!? Continue reading
