Subscription boxes are a blessing for a person like me who absolutely loves, LOVES getting mail. This love affair started at sleep away camp when my lovely mom would send me the best care packages. Currently, I get two (maybe three) beauty boxes a month. I love trying new products but sometimes it can be overwhelming, getting so many new products all at once, so I decided to think outside the box and add another one to the mix totally devoted to something not beauty. Enter the subscription box by Haute Papier.
I spoke with the two ladies behind the Haute Papier, Sarah and Erin, because I was so impressed with the idea of a subscription box devoted entirely to lovely paper items. I also love that the company started from a place of passion, as it was born out of a love for paper as both women grew up appreciating fine stationery and were taught the importance of a well-written note! I totally agree, I love sending love notes to my friends when I can and it is so much fun to receive them too! I think universally getting fun mail is the pretty much the best.
Their quarterly box (or you can just do one month) is devoted entirely to paper goods (my second love behind beauty products). Each box is filled with an assortment of the finest pens, pads, coasters, greeting cards and letterpressed goodies. I just received a box this month and got some lovely coasters, notecards, a notepad, a notebook and fun pencils.
What I love about Haute Papier is that it’s different from many other companies that design in that they do the printing too. Everything from conceptualization to the final pack and ship is done in-house by a member of their team. How cool is that?
Before our conversation ended I had to know what Sarah and Erin’s favorite beauty items were. Here is the dish: Sarah is currently loving Living Proof’s Prime Style Extender (perfect for extending the life of a blowout) and Cle de Peau’s concealer. Erin is swooning over OPI’s Gel Nail Polish in her favorite color – Bubble Bath!
If you’ve been thinking about adding another box to the mix– I highly recommend this one!
