John Masters Organic Zinc & Sage Shampoo with Conditioner $20.00 

I’ve been in love with my hair recently due to this hair care gem, but its not so green and I got sample sizes so as I neared the end of my supply I was on the lookout for a new shampoo. At the same time, I’d been experiencing dry scalp with some unsightly flaking which might have been hair product, but IDK, but I knew I needed something to combat that first and foremost. 

So I picked up some Zinc & Sage Shampoo with Conditioner by John Masters Organics. The results were more than I expected since I just really wanted to deal with the flake situation that was happening. After my first use my flakes were gone, objective obtained. But the best part, is that its just a great shampoo. My hair is seriously shinier, bouncier and looks more alive. For real. I do use an additional conditioner with this shampoo, but nevertheless I still love it. It does not dry my hair out at all, and I can get away with not shampooing everyday.

It has a gel like consistency and has a weak lather (which is OK, it is natural without foaming agents) but I just concentrate on my scalp and let it get to my ends when I wash it out.

I’ve experienced a ton of natural shampoos and the ones with poor lather usually leave my hair like straw, this can be part of the ‘hair detox’ that happens when you make the switch to more natural shampoos, but I did not experience that detox with this shampoo, just instantly awesome glossy hair.
