I love Fat & The Moon. I’ve reviewed their products before and interviewed the lady behind the brand, Rachel. She is a sweetheart, and the products are really excellent. This ruby gem is no exception.

On the lips, the stain is warm and sexy without being bold. It says I wake up this way instead of I just watched 45 minutes of YouTube tutorials to get this red lip, much more subtle. But really, I fell in love with this stain on my cheeks. I have pink undertones, so blush is something I rarely use because too often, I look like a five-year-old who just stumbled upon her mother’s makeup stash- never subtle and never elicits compliments until this stain. I’ve been doing my makeup as usual, but I’ve been dabbing this on the apples of my cheeks as the last step. The results are sweet and not obvious, and it does not make me look overly made up or like a kindergartener. The best part is I keep getting compliments whenever I wear it. Keep the ‘Oh, you look so pretty’ comments coming.
