Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave $24.00

I promise the Lipstick Challenge will not be totally dominated by Nars, but today when I woke up unusually at 4am. I felt that the only thing to pull me out of bed, really pull me out of bed was the promise of a super bright lip.

This forumla is more moisturizing than the matte stick I reviewed yesterday, but is still on the more matte side. The color is really popular, as is obvious by every J. Crew catalogue put out in the the last two years as well as every blogger with a top knot (I kid, I love, I rock them both too!) Nevertheless, its a super bold bright orange-y red. I would say its hard to wear with a lot of outfits but with neutral ones I find this can be a really key component of your outfit.

Either way, I have to say I like the ease and wear of the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Dragon that I reviewed yesterday much more, but if your in a slightly orang-y mood, this version hits the nail on the head in terms of color.
