Think you have 10 more years to get your shit together? You might be wrong about that, like really wrong. Check out this short TED talk which says otherwise. I am dying to know your thoughts on this video so leave some comments below.
The Perfect Red Lip
The perfect red lip to each person means something totally different. For me in the fall it means a red thats more purple, in the winter I’m talking about a true blue red, in spring I’m into something a bit more pinker but as the temperature rises for the summer what I’m talking about is a natural flushed lip. Nothing over done, nothing to heavy, super subtle, just noticeable enough without overpowering your face because honestly its just too hot for that. Continue reading
Lazy Girl: Hydration Station
Facial moisturizer is so important because it hydrates (duh!) and makes you look younger almost instantly. I’ve be faithfully using this one by Malin + Goetz for the last six months and as I near the end of the bottle I’m searching for something a little bit less expensive so you know I can spend my money on other things like lip balm and cabs.
Dupe Wars: Nars Dolce Vita
Nars Dolce Vita is the equivalent to a classic piece of clothing. Something you hear about all the time, about you know how its perfect, effortless and something you need to add to your arsenal. I overlooked it for like ever. That was until a few weeks ago.

Taking the Day Off to UnPack
I just got back to Brooklyn, after a very long 15 hour drive from Chicago, so I am taking the day off to sleep in and unpack all of my beauty products. See you next week and have a most awesome weekend! xoxo

Getting my Sketch On
I am started writing this post several months ago when I thought the following day I was headed to Fit Foot. I was not, nor would I make there for a few months. Fit Foot is a place I would lovingly describe as a sketchy massage place. Confession: I love these places. When I lived in Brooklyn, there was a sketchy place down the street from where I lived, on my block, thirty feet away. I frequented this place quite a bit. I love them because they are super affordable, clean and decidedly not sketchy. They are not your regular spa, there is no Enya, there are no scented candles it is a just a utilitarian place to get a massage. So when I moved to Chicago, I was wondering how I was going to get my sketchy massage on? Continue reading
Face Washing Equipment: The Low Down
In 2007, I was introduced to the Clarisonic by my aesthetician, who at the time despite trying super hard and being one of the best in the city could not clear my skin, suggested I try this device. I used it pretty faithfully for about a year, with really no life changing results. Continue reading
