Face powder is one of those products I’ve always carried with me. In high school, I would always ask my BFF Zoe if my face was shiny. My face was always shiny, today less so than it was back then, but I still keep a powder compact on hand. The one kind of powder I never really used was setting powder because I thought it was pointless and a scheme. Hey, hey, hey. I hope you have been enjoying the awesome month that is October. This week, I’ll be focusing on everything that is foundations + primers and everything in between.
Ever since it started really feeling like summer my face has been super acting up. I mentioned yesterday about my bachelorette weekend celebration which was spent with a friend of mine who is a skin care expert. I told her my woes which are basically this: I wash my face with cleanser and it feels super tight, so I put on oil, serums, and moisturizers and then my face feels heavy and greasy and gross, so I wash it again and the cycle repeats. After this conversation she recommended switching up my cleanser in favor for something more soothing, gentle and non-stripping.
I love a little lip product. Clearly. I have probably about 100, I haven’t actually counted but its safe to say thats the number. It can be a problem. Continue reading
