Hey, hey, hey. I hope you have been enjoying the awesome month that is October. This week, I’ll be focusing on everything that is foundations + primers and everything in between.
I’ve been really loyal for the last year to the same foundation, Vapour Organic Atmosphere Luminous Foundation. It totally broke me of my love for Laura Mercier’s Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer. I love that its organic, safe, and in an easy to use and transport stick and the coverage was great, let my skin breathe and did not cause dreaded breakouts. But, I kept hearing chatter about Jouer Matte Moisture Tint and I was curious. While I never got a sample in my BirchBox, when I accumulated some points through Birchbox I knew it was time to pull the trigger.

A lot of natural and safe foundations are loose mineral foundations. I have not had good times with mineral foundations, they really settle into lines, and they are a pain to carry around (no touch ups which I knew that would not jive with my easy routine I like to take on the go) so Vapor won out over a few other companies. Primer is one of those things, that you don’t really think you need. I mean its an extra step in the whole process, but what it promises might be worth that extra 15 seconds.
