Nectar of the G-ds

Fig & Yarrow Cleansing Nectar

$28.00

I was looking at this for ages. Fig & Yarrow was kind enough to extend me a nice discount and I knew that it was time to pick up this bottle that had been starring me down from the pages of Etsy for months.

This little bottle claims to fix all sorts of things my skin is struggling through. This “low-maintenance daily cleanser is beneficial for all skin types, though particularly recommended for congested acne-prone or flaking skin. With a pH in alignment with skin’s natural state, CLEANSING NECTAR encourages balance as it deeply cleanses, exfoliates & nourishes.”

In the morning these days, I either do not wash my face or I use this Cleansing Nectar. This is a very different cleansing ritual. You put it on a cotton pad, swipe your face and then rinse it off. While I have changed a whole host of things in my routine recently. None of them are giving me trouble leading me to believe at least that they are all working together to bring me clearer, more moisturized skin. This is no exception.

While it smells like vinegar. It leaves my face feeling super fresh and amazing. Kind of can’t live without it these days.

This Cleansing Nectar really does it all…

+rich in nutrients & enzymes with naturally drawing, antibacterial & exfoliating (BHA, AHA, malic and lactic acids) attributes, sea salt, raw honey & raw apple cider vinegar have shown to be effective in treating acne, eczema & dermatitis as well as reduction of hyperpigmentation and redness.
+honey and vegetable glycerin help soften, sooth and moisturize as well as speed cell regeneration and reduce signs of aging by drawing oxygen into skin.
+aloe has been long-recognized for its soothing & reparative effects.
+willow bark is antimicrobial and naturally exfoliating. high in Salicylic acid, it increases cell turnover resulting in clearer, smoother skin also reducing appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In vitro tests have shown Willow Bark Extract to have activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes, the two strains of bacteria implicated in the formation of acne.
+calendula is an exceptional skin-healing plant ally, used to treat ulcers, rashes, and skin damage.
+gingko biloba is highly antioxidant, helps to increase circulation, prevent capillary fragility, helps to boost collagen formation, aids in skin fibroblast creation.
+licorice reduces redness, lightens & evens skin coloring while soothing.
+green tea is highly antioxidant, helping to reduce signs of aging, is anti-inflammatory and protects against UVB damage.
+citric acid, an Alpha Hydroxy Acid from citrus fruits, is effective for skin lightening, tightening and brightening.
+together, essential oils of rockrose, lavender, clary sage, chamomile & rosewood stimulate skin cell turnover/regeneration, are soothing, brightening, antibacterial, pore-minimizing & balancing.

This cleansing nectar is really exceptional, and does something with cleansing my skin that does not leave it stripped but does do a great job of removing traces of gross that accumulate over night. Overall, this is a great product that along with Blissoma Adaptive Energy Tonique has done wonders for my skin, leaving it much clearer and more mosturized.

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
