November’s Ipsy Bag

Ipsy, is one of the many subscription style monthly beauty clubs, similar to the very popular (and my fave) BirchBox. While I do get a BirchBox every month, a beauty addict like myself needs more to stave off the desire to spend all my time in Sephora, online shopping and in Whole Food Beauty, really I do, and of course I love getting mail.

So Ipsy was an easy choice to add to my monthly crew of deliveries. In addition to receiving 5-7 deluxe sample size products you get an awesome make-up bag to house your monthly haul. I love mini bags, I carry about 5 in my purse to keep things organized so this was an beauty subscription was an easy easy choice.

This month in addition to a cute mini make-up bag, I received the following products:

Nailtini Nail Lacquer in Millionaire

Benefit They’re Real Mascara in Black

Starlet Eyeliner in ‘All I want is peace, love and Chocolate’

The Balm’s Meet Matt(e) eyeshadow in Matt Batali a smokey-grey-purple shade

AND

The standout, Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss in Dare Devil a sparkling blackberry lip gloss. And Holy potatoes, this color and formula are amazing. Its a very deep but still sheer blackberry, with a hint of sparkle, which I think gives it its depth and makes my lips looks a bit bigger. The formula tingles a bit, which adds to the mild plumping action, but what stands out is the color, its super super nice. I love a good berry lip color and this one is no exception. It’s dark enough so it defines without being overly harsh and ‘done up,’ but provides a nice color to add some pop. I like it because I can apply it without a mirror and still have some high impact color going on. Its pretty perfect.

    1. This past bag, my first bag, was full of essentials, but will that always be the case? I do not know, what I do know is that I was way happier with Ipsy over my BirchBox, and what I love is giving away things I don’t need or want. It makes friends super happy!
