Revamp Your Morning Routine
I love using body oil in place of body lotion. I think its more comfortable and more effective at moisturizing, especially early in the morning. I’ve used so many over the years, usually really inexpensive ones from Whole Foods, like jojoba or sesame oils. But sometimes I like to use one that’s a bit more luxurious and special. Two years ago, one of my BFFs, Zoe, no stranger to this Blog, was living and working in Italy. Obviously, I made it a point to visit her that summer, along with another BFF Christine. We had an AMAZING time, by far one of my most favorite trips ever. Being a considerable beauty fan, I am, I love visiting other people because I get to see what products they use and try them for myself. After showering one day I commented to Zoe that her apartment smelled amazing, Zoe told me it was her body wash, what? Seriously, it felt like 1000 scented candles, it was divine.

I used a similar version by Origins (which is no longer in production) a few years ago, I even went through two bottles of the stuff, but stopped using it for really no apparent reason. I wanted to start using it again this summer because I really needed something to brighten up my skin and get rid of old acne marks. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
I didn’t really need a new cleanser, I’d been using this one for the past two months and liked it. But I was at Sephora and saw a travel sized version of this and was pretty enticed to try it out. I had zero expectations.
Bioderma Crealine H2O
OMG, this stuff is all over every blog at every interview as everyone’s holy grail cleanser. I’ve been eyeing it for a while. But I wasn’t sure I’d like it, so I didn’t want to shell out money for the small bottle + shipping. Until I stumbled upon it in real life at Shen Beauty a few weeks ago.
