I found out about Dabu a long time ago. Nevertheless, this top coat blows all other top coats out of the water. While I can’t say much on shine (all top coats loose shine within a day), what this one does, that blows all others away, is really keep your polish chip free for days. FOR DAYS!
I mean no manicure will last without incident really after more than a few days, but what Dabu does is interesting, instead of chips, your polish gradually wears from the tips down, it fades. The wear and tear is so gradual that you don’t notice it, and if you have the polish at home you can just cover up the minimal wear and tear with a quick swipe of color at the tips so your manicure will last even longer. Because there is nothing worse or uglier than chipped nails.
Even though, Dabu looks like it was made in 1983 and definitely like something you would find on your Grandmas vanity, it really is nevertheless the most lo-fi and awesome top coat out there.
*Follow up, my manicure has lasted ten days. Ten entire days!
