If you are a regular reader of this blog, you are well aware that I F-ING love lip products. I went to the BITE BEAUTY SoHo store a few weeks ago for some custom lipstick (a post on that later this week), and this gem caught my eye. Continue reading

The Best Body Wash in the World
Two years ago, one of my BFFs, Zoe, no stranger to this Blog, was living and working in Italy. Obviously, I made it a point to visit her that summer, along with another BFF Christine. We had an AMAZING time, by far one of my most favorite trips ever. Being a considerable beauty fan, I am, I love visiting other people because I get to see what products they use and try them for myself. After showering one day I commented to Zoe that her apartment smelled amazing, Zoe told me it was her body wash, what? Seriously, it felt like 1000 scented candles, it was divine.
Hype or Magic: Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap
This soap is on every single blog. I swear. I see it all the time. But I’ve never read anything about them. It’s just added as a pretty detail to some assortment of other products. But I had to know, is this soap THAT good? I kept running into it in stores but avoided picking it up because I was convinced that it was all HYPE, and then I used it.
Blend Baby Blend
A few years back I was obsessed with these, obsessed people. These sponges are amazing, they assist with applying makeup in such a way that your makeup looks amazing every single time, seriously. But then I stopped, I got lazy, using a sponge was costing me precious seconds, so I just used my fingers. I know, be horrified.
IT Cosmetics® Brow Power™ Universal Brow Pencil
I just read an article about IT Cosmetics in the New York Times about a week or so ago, so they’ve been on my radar. So I was not that surprised when one of their products was in my Limited Edition CEW Birchbox this month. Continue reading
99 Red Ballons
I love a good red lip, I really do. I think its the easiest way to look pulled together in an instant without really trying to hard. Continue reading
Les Beiges
File this under totally unnecessary luxury product. I saw a preview of these powders several months back and immediately got myself on a wait-list. I loved the idea, a cross between a setting powder and a light bronzer, housed in a beautiful cream colored Chanel compact. Continue reading
Face It
I had been super loyal to Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer for YEARS, years! Until I decided to go more organic and then switched to Vapour Organic’s stick foundation which I then faithfully used for another year and half. But then that too got boring. So I switched it up again to several other foundations and BB creams and I still wasn’t loving anything that much, I mean I liked them especially the BB creams when summer hit hard, but I just wasn’t falling head over heals for how my face looked at all. YSL Baby Doll Mascara
So I get my eyebrows shaped 2 or 3 times a year, usually its whenever they start to get unruly. I was picking up some beauty products at Shen Beauty when I noticed a treatment chair in the corner. I asked the woman who worked there what was up and she confirmed my suspicions and said that they did brows. I went back to Shen to get mine done after brunch one Sunday and was super impressed with my brow shaping. I was even more excited that its located in Brooklyn super close to my apartment. While I was getting my eyebrows done, I asked the super cool lady who did my brows if she was wearing false lashes or eyelash extensions, because her lashes looks out of this world. She laughed and told me that she was actually just wearing mascara. What?!?! I seriously had to know which kind it was because I had to have it, her lashes were AMAZING.
