Apparently, I’m really into anti-aging hair care products right now even though I am 100% not in this product group’s targeted market. I love these products because they make your hair look freakin’ awesome regardless if your hair is in the “aging” category of things. I’ve been using the same hair smoothing serum for my dried hair since 2003. No joke. I’ve gone through about 2-3 bottles of it and keep coming back. So when a sample of this arrived in my Birchbox I didn’t think much of it until I actually tried it on my dried hair. Continue reading

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint
I’ve been really loyal for the last year to the same foundation, Vapour Organic Atmosphere Luminous Foundation. It totally broke me of my love for Laura Mercier’s Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer. I love that its organic, safe, and in an easy to use and transport stick and the coverage was great, let my skin breathe and did not cause dreaded breakouts. But, I kept hearing chatter about Jouer Matte Moisture Tint and I was curious. While I never got a sample in my BirchBox, when I accumulated some points through Birchbox I knew it was time to pull the trigger.
Caudalie Divine Oil
I’ve posted about a few speciality oils before, I’ve also mentioned how I think most of them are bullshit and that regular old jojoba oil is where its at. But this particular oil by Caudalie changed my mind about that. Continue reading
Drugstore Dupe: YSL Lip Stain on the Cheap
I’ve been having mega allergies for the last week, plus a cold on top of the congestion. Its not been the best time at the One Product condo. Either way I had to pick up some tissues at CVS, obviously while I was there I wandered off into makeup territory to see if this lip product I had causally seen an ad for was in stock. It was and I die, its amazing. Continue reading
Subscription Box Addiction
Subscription boxes are a blessing for a person like me who absolutely loves, LOVES getting mail. This love affair started at sleep away camp when my lovely mom would send me the best care packages. Currently, I get two (maybe three) beauty boxes a month. I love trying new products but sometimes it can be overwhelming, getting so many new products all at once, so I decided to think outside the box and add another one to the mix totally devoted to something not beauty. Enter the subscription box by Haute Papier. Continue reading
Saturday Styles: ESTY Spring Jewelry Picks
I’ve done the leg work and picked out these jewelry gems from the depths of Etsy for spring. Enjoy!
Be Adored
I had to replace my foundation and hate shipping charges. Its mentally less anguish if I get free shipping even if it means picking something else just to get free shipping, especially something else that is less than necessary. I have been eyeing Tata Harper’s line forever but can’t bring myself to try something, anything from it because its sooooooooooooo pricey and my skin is so finicky that for me at least the risk that it will sit in a drawer is just too high. But I did pick up this lip balm from Tata Harper and I’ve been reaching for it all the time ever since it arrived on my doorstep from Spirit Beauty Lounge.
New: Green Picks
As I have mentioned I do talk about products that are not so green. Its hard, I love products. I’ve created a new tab to house all of the posts on green products, called GREEN PICKS. All the products listed are safe and pass my rigorous reading of ingredient lists. I’ll be updating this over the next week or so to include all of the One Product posts on safer products!
Enjoy and have an awesome weekend!
Lazy Girl
I am the laziest person when it comes to shaving. I just replaced my razor cartridge after something like 3 months of daily shaving ( I like to be smooth all the time, even in winter). Just like my razor cartridge’s I don’t really use shaving cream, I use Dr. Bronner’s or a similar Castile Soap. It works, but its just easy, thats’s why I like it. I don’t know but there is something about shaving cream in a traditional can that just bothers me- its just not easy to use. But then, I started to have some issues, get ready for an overshare.
