Dessert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil, $6.18
So, I think most face oils are BS. I mean, there base is usually jojoba oil, with some other fancy oils thrown in so they can amp up the price and the claims. Just my theory.
So, I have posted about Jojoba Oil before, and I lightly mentioned this hoodwinking, but I wanted to update you on Jojoba Oils pretty much nonstop awesomeness nonethless because the results are just amazing.
Now since its winter and my face is starting to look really dry and strung out, I needed some more moisture. I ran out of Jojoba oil and bought some more other day and I also bought a dropper bottle from Whole Foods to put it in to make it more luxe (I’ve also posted about about how much I love Whole Foods plastic bottles before- they are great! Muji be damned!).
Like I said, my skin was super super dry. I looked really really tired, and these fine lines I swear just developed, started creeping up on my forehead. So, I just went to town and slathered this on all over my face overnight.
I woke up the next morning, and my skin was amazing. I usually just use the oil to spot treat dry patches, but putting it all over made such a remarkable difference in my skin. I’ve been using it as a replacement for my Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Moisturizer and my Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair both of which I use to use at night and seriously my skin is looking amazaballs and I have yet to break out since I made the switch. ZERO breakouts and just glowing skin.
Now, since I think face oils pack in oils that can make you break out (like this one ) and since jojoba is so often a base, skip the high price tag, fancy bottle and just get some Jojoba Oil.
I just thought you should know, and you can thank me later.
