I’ve posted about face oils a few times here on the blog, you can check them out here, here and here. I thought for a long time that face oils were bullshit, just pure snake oil, a jar full of lies if you will. But I’ve been converted over the past several months as I get more and more samples of the stuff. I’m quick to fall in love with a face oil with the exception of Argan Oil, I’ve never liked that stuff really for either my hair or my skin. But recently I stumbled upon a face oil from Tarte and I am totally crushing on it, so much so that I recently had a party and as the conversation turned to skincare, as it often does at my house, the conversation was dominated by me going off about this amazing workhorse of an oil.

Tarte’s Pure Maracuja Oil has blown me away. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and my skin looks amazing and radiant. I have not broken out since I started using it either. Whats great about is that it really sinks into your skin, so it really moisturizes,  often with oils I find that they don’t sink in as much as I want them too. I use it morning and night and never feel greasy and my face is never an oil slick even if I put makeup over it. Tarte claims that the oil can make your skin firmer, brighter and smoother– I thought this claim was bullshit, but seriously, it does. My skin has never looked this clear or radiant. And with the high concentration of vitamin C I am even finding that my acne marks and dark spots are fading.

This oil is perfection. It does what it says and does it well and has replaced a number of serums, moisturizers and targeted treatments. I am in L O V E.
